Default Content Now on Galaxy Displays
Why we started adding default content to our Galaxy displays and how to use the default to your advantage.

On May 8th, 2023, we started shipping Galaxy® LED displays with default content configured.
Why? To help ensure everything is working correctly when no content has been scheduled prior to installation.
When nothing has been scheduled to the display before install, this default content helps installation technicians verify internet connection and see that all LED modules are working. Prior to this, if the customer did not have content scheduled to their sign, it was difficult to ensure everything functions properly.

We still highly encourage end users to schedule their own content as soon as possible to make sure they get the most of their investment. Once user content is scheduled, the default content will only be seen when rebooting for a few seconds.
