What Playlist Type Should You Use?
For VCS Basic Package Accounts:
Efficiency is key, here. Use the Scheduling App to create playlists beforehand, allowing your content to seamlessly transition between Christmas events and sales to New Years, and back to your normal scheduled content. Leverage a feature method called “Day Parting” to ensure accurate content delivery throughout the day, week, month, and year.
For VCS Select, Professional, and Enterprise Accounts:
Go beyond the basics. Incorporate override, exclusive, or synchronized playlists. Overrides and Exclusives enable you to takeover display content during special events or with countdowns. You could set up a countdown for Christmas or New Year’s by making an override playlist set to play 1 minute before midnight! No more manual changes, simply set the date and time ranges.
