While the Pokémon Go phase has fizzled out over the past few weeks, the use of augmented reality is starting to catch on.
As a part of a global campaign, Disney released a video on social media of digital street furniture outfitted with augmented reality technology in the Singapore suburb of Tampines. The street furniture gave the illusion of a window to the street behind, but as people watched, a stream of famous Disney characters appeared.
The result was pure excitement for those witnessing the events unfolding before them.
