Content Studio: No audio from video file, imported through Content Studio
Potential Symptoms
- No audio is playing from video files on DMP-8000.
Environment
- Product: DVX, DVN, DVNMC
- Components: DMP-8000 (VNet), Content Studio
- Control System: Display Studio (SCS)
Cause
- Video was imported through Content Studio, which strips out embedded audio.
Resolution
- Place/copy the video file (e.g. avi, mp4, mov) with embedded PCM audio directly onto DMP-8000 via the mapped network drive and create the Display Studio button as normal. (Note: vmpf files are files created with content studio - will have no audio).
