Communication error in Venus Control Suite dashboard: Cable not securely connected to network switch

Potential Symptoms

  • Display is offline in Venus Control Suite dashboard.
  • M-Series Bridge is offline in Venus Control Suite dashboard.
  • Communication error is indicated in the Venus Control Suite dashboard.
  • Unable to update content to the display in Venus Control Suite.

Cause

  • Loose/disconnected Ethernet cable from the M-Bridge and/or sign's communication connection to the network switch.

Resolution

  • Reseat M-Bridge and sign's Ethernet communication cables to the customer's network switch.
