How to set time on the Vanguard Field Controller

Steps

Through VFC screen:
  1. Log into the VFC
  2. Select Shared.
  3. Select Time.
  4. Select Set Time.
  5. Select Time Zone.
  6. Select Daylight Savings Time state. Not in effect or In effect. Note: DST is in effect in the summer months.
  7. Enter month.
  8. Enter Day.
  9. Enter 4 digit year.
  10. Enter Hour using 24 Hour format.
  11. Enter Minutes.
  12. Enter Seconds.
  13. If applicable enter the NTP servers used. If no NTP servers, then cancel back to the main screen.
  14. NTP servers select NTP.
  15. Select Configure.
  16. Enter IP address of NTP server.
  17. Select NTP Poll Interval. Note: recommended is Self Calibrating.
  18. Repeat steps 14-17 if using multiple NTP servers.
  19. Cancel back to main screen when finished. 
Through Web UX:
  1. Log into DMP web page.
  2. Click on time box on the dashboard.
  3. Set the correct time zone.
  4. Click save. (note: if there are any errors on page they will need to be corrected before it will allow you to save. look for red exclamation marks on left side of page.)
  5. After saving click the sync button. Time should sync with computer time.
  6. Click back on dashboard and verify time is correct. This may take up to 10 seconds.
  7. If time is still incorrect click back on the time box, verify the time zone is correct and hit sync.
  8. The same steps need to be followed on the VIP web page.
