How to update VCB display interface firmware through the web UI for a Vanguard display

Steps

 
  1. Download the VCB Display Interface firmware(s) DD2295229.
  2. Save the 2 files to your computer.
    1. DD2295229 VCB II epld production bootload hid1F00.hex
    2. DD2295229 VCB II micro production bootload hid1F00.hex
  3. Open an internet browser to log into the VIP board of the VFC controller.
  4. Type the controllers IP address followed by :85 into the address bar. Example http://10.3.20.75:85
  5. You will be prompted to enter the password in the popup window.
  6. Select Firmware from the Dashboard.
  7. Select Update and browse to the DD2295229 VCB II epld production bootload hid1F00.hex file.
  8. Click on the Open button.
  9. Wait for it to finish 100%
  10. Select Update and browse to the DD2295229 VCB II micro production bootload hid1F00.hex
  11. Click on the Open button.
  12. Wait for it to finish 100%
