Switch messages are all rotating through each other when activated

Potential Symptoms

  • When publishing new messages they are all rotating through each other when they should be activated by a switch.
  • Venus 1500 V4 shows the messages as running when published and they should be in stored

Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation
  • Product: Galaxy AF-3550
  • Component: SI-32 switch interface
  • Control System: Venus 1500 V4 software

Cause

  • Display needs to be blanked so messages will go to stored presentations.

Resolution

  1. Open Venus 1500 software and navigate to content studio.
  2. Using Content Studio create a SWITCH folder.
  3. Save messages as MSG001, MSG002, etc.
  4. Save messages to the SWITCH folder.
  5. Publish messages to the display.
  6. In Venus 1500 click on the Home tab, then click on the drop down arrow next to the green refresh icon.
  7. Click on Blank Display. this will store the messages to the displays library.
