IP address does not show on boot up, gateway on different subnet

Potential Symptoms

  • Display shows boot sequence but IP portion shows ETH0 and is blank.
  • IP address does not show on display boot up.

Cause

  • Gateway IP address set to different subnet than signs IP.

Resolution

  • Set IP address and gateway onto the same subnet.
    • If not able to determine what IP is currently on the display or connect to it, the bottom network jack on the controller may need to be used to make the initial connection to allow the top network jack to be reconfigured with M4Config.
