Unable to change prices from indoor J-box but can from outdoor J-box; Ground wire (whip) not connected
Potential Symptoms
- Unable to change prices using DM-100 at indoor J-box, but able to change prices from outdoor J-box.
- Loopback tests pass through cable to sign but loopback test fails through outdoor J-box surge card.
- Issue remains after replacing outdoor surge card.
- Black ground wire is connected at TB3 pin 4 to driver but ground whip connection to display cabinet ground is disconnected or not present.

Cause
- Surge card is not grounded to display cabinet ground.
Resolution
- Connect display cabinet ground to black wire that is connected to the TB3 pin 4 using wire nut or Scotchlok and W-1054 as in diagram below.
