Blank display after reboot or firmware update; DMP did not boot up properly
Potential Symptoms
- Blank display after recent automatic reboot or after firmware update.
- VIP shows DVI Source not Available error in red.
- VIP monitor is blank, and shows no input device detected.
- Input tile in Web config shows DVI 0x0; 0Hz.
- DMP shows no output device is selected and there is a red ! next to Output when the wrench (tools) is clicked.
- Only device (0) is present to select; device (1) is missing.
- DMP may be offline with VIP online.

- Product: Galaxy Standard 6 (GS6), GC6, GT6
- Component: DMP-8000 v7
- Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS) - Daktronics Hosted
Cause
- DMP did not boot up properly.
Resolution
- Reset Display from VCS or from DMP remote access.
- If the output device does not automatically re-select to (1) on the DMP, manually select it (with 900x1440 @ 60hz selected, single rectangle).
- If DMP is offline in VCS and inaccessible, use Smartlink to reboot the player if one is available.
