Steps

  1. Log into the DI-6000 or VP-6000 using Putty.  6000 Processor: How to log in using PuTTY .
  2. Syntax
    • v27.2 and higher command: (cardid is dependent on how DP signal is being taken in. For example, cardid will typically equal 1 for a DI-6000). 
      • sudo -u kadoka dptool rx get sts --cardid 1 
      • To watch an auto updating refresh:
        • sudo -u kadoka watch -c -d -n 1 dptool rx get sts --cardid 1
    • v26.0 and lower: (cardid is dependent on how DP signal is being taken in. For example, cardid will typically equal 1 for a DI-6000) 
      • dptool rx get sts --cardid 1
      • To watch an auto updating refresh 
        • watch -c -d -n 1 dptool rx get sts --cardid 1
  3. The main thing to look for is all green in the Link Status section.
    • A good example will look something like this:

  4. Confirm resolution is being received properly by confirming the values under Main Stream Attributes.
