Show Control System: Display Studio Status Error red, File Server Error on V7

Potential Symptoms

Environment

  • Product: Show Control (SCS), Display Studio
  • Component: File Server
  • Control System: DMP-7000 with V7000 software

Cause

  • File server is not set up correctly on player on indicated computer.

Resolution

  1. On 7000 machine:
    1. Configure > File Servers...
    2. Make sure that there is an entry for local and network folder location for computer.
    3. Example: "D:\V7000" & ''\\V7Aux-P\V7000

    4. If missing: ... > Add Server > (select appropriate path) > OK
  2. On SCS computer:  (Corner cube button) > Properties > Service Configuration > (Highlight computer) > Update Server
