Steps

  • Option 1 - Air filters can be cleaned with water and a mild detergent, such as dish soap (Dawn Soap). (Allow the filters to dry completely before reinstalling them in the sign.)
  • Option 2 - Compressed air can also be used to clean the filters, provided the nozzle is held at least 6" away from the filter, the pressure is no greater than 60 psi, and the air is blown through the filter in the opposite direction from which air normally flows. The arrow stamped on the frame filter indicates airflow direction.
