Steps

  1. The part number for Vanguard Travel Time is DD2911645.
  2. Service coordination group will provide a quote for Vanguard Travel Time Software.
  3. Customers who purchase the Vanguard Travel Time Software will  work with our engineering support.
  4. Engineering will be involved for steps 5 & 6.
  5. The customer will be directed to send an email to transportationsdksupport@daktronics.com.
  6. The customer is required to include their order number and any relevant information.
  • Additional information about Vanguard Travel Time:
  1. Routes are provided by an XML interface provided by the customer.
  2. Routes aren't created in the Vanguard travel time software, it is provided by the XML data feed link that is added to the travel time software. 
  3. Travel time works in a sense that we need an XML file that the Vanguard Travel Time can retrieve. Basically, the customer stores the travel time info in an XML file.  If the XML doesn't match our XSD, then our engineering group creates a XLST file to transform the XML to what our Vanguard software would expect. 
  4. Run the latest version of Vanguard Professional Software with the latest version of the Vanguard Travel Time.
  • How to Install Travel Time Software:
  1. Install Vanguard Professional Software.
  2.  Install Vanguard Travel Time add in feature.
  3. Setup in Vanguard Travel Time.
  4. Settings -> set data feed.
  5. Verify with Routes window.
  6. Plans.
  7. Create message.
  8. Save it.
  9. Assign routes.
  10. Name plan.
  11. Save it.
  12. Status.
  13. Exact Plan.
  14. Schedule (if created).
