Mirror face powers up but primary face does not

Potential Symptoms

  • Mirror face powers up but Primary face does not
  • With power breakers inside Mirror face switched off measurements coming out of breakers on Primary face are as follows:
  • Hot and Ground: 120 VAC
  • Hot and Neutral 44 VAC
  • Neutral and Ground 13 VAC

  • Component: 120 VAC incoming power
  • Control System: Power goes to mirror face and is jumpered over to primary face

Cause

Loose neutral on splice coming from other side

Resolution

  1. Redo splice so the neutral is no longer loose
