When trying to connect or Publish to a display in Venus 1500 v4 receiving Alert "The requested File was not found."

Potential Symptoms

  • When trying to connect or publish to a display in Venus 1500 v4, receive the following alert: "The requested File was not found".

Environment

 
  • Product: Galaxy
  • Component: M2 & M3 controller base product
  • Control System: Venus 1500 V4

Cause

  • Corrupt presentation, playlist or configuration file that was sent to the controller.

Resolution

If receiving Alert when trying to connect to display:
  1. Clear the sign memory in M2Config by following DD2347391.
  2. Make sure to close out of Venus 1500 v4 when clearing display memory in M2Config.
If able to connect to display and receiving Alert when trying to publish to display:
  1. Clear the sign memory in Venus 1500 v4 by following DD2078733.
  2. After display reset is completed try publishing messages to display by clicking Schedule Tab, click Publish to Display.
