Cause

  • The Venus Database has become corrupted.

Resolution

  • Could try loading the backup database using How do I use the Nucleus Server Database utility?, DD1705944
  • Save the existing database(to desktop or flash drive).
  • Load the backup database(C:\Program Files (x86)]\Daktronics\Nucleus Server\Backup\Backup.nuckback) using the same utility.  Open Venus V4.
  • If you get the same error, the database is corrupt.   Instead of saving the database, click NEW.
  • This will not save any content or display configuration and the Database is lost.
  • Take note of the type of communication and IP address to reconnect to the display.
  • Content that is still on the display can be retrieved after the display is configured.
  • After you connect to the display in the software, if the error message appears again, do a clear memory/reset on the display.
