    Cause

    • The pathway of the Desktop is pointing to a different driver other then the Local C:\. The My Computer or My Documents folder may be mapped to another location on the computer or server as well. The Nucleus file dialog does not know how to handle this situation in Venus 1500 v4.14 and earlier.

    Resolution

    Work Around

    Option 1: Remap the computers Desktop or My Documents to the computer default.
    • This option must be completed by Users IT Department, Daktronics Technical Support does not assist with remapping of system folders.
    Option 2: Set the Default Program to open .VMPF files to Content Studio.
    1. Right-click on the .VMPF file saved on the desktop.
    2. Select Open or Open with….
    3. When prompted to choose a program, click Browse
    4. Browse and locate Content studio in the following location:
      • 32 Bit System - C:\Program Files\Daktronics\Content Studio
      • 64 Bit System - C:\Program Files (x86)\Daktronics\Content Studio
    5. Select Content Studio.exe, click Ok.
    6. You will be prompted to enter in username and password.
        • Username: administrator Password: password
        1. Once presentation opens, do a Save As… to the Venus 1500 software folder.
        If unable to save to the Nucleus Database, the User will need to contact IT Department to fix the invalid mapping of My Documents.
