SLD: What settings should be used when display is mainly operated by a DMP - Daktronics Media Player

When an SLD is intended to be used daily with a DMP, there are settings that should be set to have the SLD automatically turn back on and select the DMP input after a power outage. This would allow customers turn off the display with a timer at the panel.

Steps

Accessing the "Settings" Menu

1. Press the Home button (symbol of a house) on the remote
2. Select "More Apps"

3. Select the "Settings" App

Enable Power-on Self-start and Disable Assistive Touch
1. In the setting menu select "General"
2. Disable the "Assistive Touch" toggle
3. Disable Enable the "Power-On Self-Start" Toggle
4. Disable the "Delayed Power-Up" Toggle


Enable the Input which the DMP is connected to
1. In the setting menu select "General"
2. Select "Signal"

3. Under "Remember Settings", select the HDMI input which the DMP is connect to.
