ECCB Blank With Heartbeat, Controller Outputting Blank Test Pattern.

Potential Symptoms

  • Deleting old content and recreating it does not resolve issue.
  • Able to connect to eCCB and create content.
  • Content has a Title
  • Green circle next to content.
  • Time correct, scheduled content should be playing (for example, set to "All Day, Every Day") but sign still blank.
  • All modules on display are red.
  • Power cycle does not resolve issue.

Cause

  • Controller is outputting a blank test pattern

Resolution

  • Put the sign on a Test Pattern by clicking the Gear Icon and selecting a Test Pattern, for example "Module IDs"
  • Stop the Test Pattern by clicking the selected Test Pattern again, removing the check mark.
